I love school visits!

One of my greatest joys is to bring books and kids together for an interactive, engaging, fun presentation!

• Presentations last 30-40 minutes.
• Classes and grade levels can be combined or attend one at a time.
• I supply all the materials.
• There’s always a fun take-away for every child.

For Grades K-2

TURTLE ON THE TRACK covers the theme of slowing down and paying attention. I’ll share my life experience that inspired this story, and we’ll venture off into learning about turtles, especially the snapping turtle, with pictures and real turtle shells for children to hold. 

TURKEY IN THE TUNNEL covers the theme of taking risks and facing your fears through hard times. Kids will do some personal reflection about times they showed courage. We’ll learn some fun facts about Turkey and end up loving this character even more!

For Grades 3-4 Students will discover how stories can be born from personal experience, how one story can lead to another, and what it takes to go from idea to publication.
